News Update: HP CEO Mark Hurd Resigns After Sex Harassment Scandal

The company, Hewlett-Packard, was rocked with a scandal involving it's CEO, Mark Hurd. Stocks came tumbling after the CEO announced his resignation amidst the controversy that lurks him. HP said Hurd was forced to resign from the company after they discovered he had a relationship with a woman working with them on marketing matters. The company said he falsified expense reports and other financial documents to hide his relationship with the woman and help get the contract to get paid for work she didn't accomplish. Though, the company said their investigation didn't find Hurd violate their sexual harassment policy. It was a tough decision for the ex-CEO, but the scandal will continue to tarnish the credibility of the company if he still stays.
